Dozens killed in Kazakhstan protests

A Russian-led military alliance of ex-Soviet states is to send "peacekeeping forces" into Kazakhstan following days of deadly protests.

The demonstrations broke out in several cities over rising energy prices.

A state of emergency has been declared - and the country's entire government has resigned.
