Russian forces have continued to attack multiple Ukrainian military targets, according to the Russian Defense Ministry as Ukraine said that battles have intensified in the southern part of the country.
According to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, in recent military operations in Ukraine, Russian forces have destroyed several command posts of the Ukrainian army, multiple fuel depots and ammunition depots in Kharkov Region and Donetsk.
The Russian forces have also destroyed a U.S.-made counter-battery radar station near Donetsk, platoons of Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, as well as suppressed or destroyed platoons of Acatsiya guns in Donetsk and Kherson regions, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Friday that the battles in the southern part of the country have intensified.
A spokesman for the Ukrainian Southern Operational Command said on the same day that Ukrainian artillery units had struck a Russian ammunition depot in the Kherson region. The spokesman added that almost all of the southern Russian supply lines were under Ukrainian fire control.
