West Bank Settlement Sparks Protests, Clashes
Palestinian protesters clashed with the Israeli army in the village of Beita to protest a settlement outpost in the West Bank, Friday, June 18.
The protests come after the death of a Palestinian teenager who was shot Wednesday by Israeli troops.
He was the fourth demonstrator to be killed since the Israeli outpost was set up last month.
Israeli settlers established the outpost, Eviatar, last month near the northern West Bank town of Nablus.
Palestinians say it was built on private land and fear it will grow and merge with other settlements nearby. (AP)
