Heavy Rains Wreak Havoc in Peru #shorts - VOA News

The lives of Peruvians in northern Peru have been challenged by the heavy rains in the region, as local media images showed Tuesday.

Flooded highways and people risking themselves crossing a river flow are part of the images shared by the local media.

The weather conditions also have caused flooding at schools in the area, with video showing school staff trying to salvage chairs and children walking in flooded school hallways. (Reuters)
