The Prime Minster apologised after giving the wrong answer to a question about COVID-19 restrictions in the North East.
Boris Johnson incorrectly said people could ignore the 'rule of six' restrictions when meeting outside.
He later tweeted that those in the North East "cannot meet people from different households in social settings indoors, including in pubs, restaurants and your home".
