Ukraine war: ICC 'should take an objective position' and 'avoid double standards'- China spokesman.

As China has said President Xi's visit to Moscow is all part of its efforts to broker peace, on Putin's ICC arrest warrant, a more nuanced tone was struck.

Spokesman Wang Wenbin said the ICC "should take an objective position", that it should "avoid double standards" and "steer clear of politicising".

While these are clearly the words of a government that can't be seen to recognise the warrant, they are also not as dismissive as they could have been.
