Footage from a CCTV camera showed how a car driving at high speed had a spectacular accident in the Belgian town of Flemalle on Thursday (March 30).
The driver, behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz, took a spectacular spin when his car hit a roundabout and flew around 20 metres above ground until it hit the wall of a sports centre - five metres above the ground - before hitting the ground of a basketball court inside.
Local police confirmed young basketball players were still training on the court just minutes before the accident occurred. The driver sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital.
