Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska met Tuesday with Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Nadia Murad and showed her the aftermath of #Russia’s invasion of #Ukraine by taking her through one Ukrainian town.
Murad was escorted around Borodyanka in the #Kyiv region, an area that became synonymous with indiscriminate Russian bombing of civilian areas.
It bore the brunt of the early days of the conflict, with dozens of civilians killed during Russian bombings of apartment blocks. (AP)
