UK heatwave: Britain set for hottest day of the year.

Sky News correspondent Frazer Maude is in Skegness as the UK basks in what has now been recorded as the hottest day of the year, hitting 28.3C in Northolt.

Temperatures are expected to peak on Friday, when the mercury could hit 34C - and possibly even hotter - in the South East.

The Met Office and the UK Health Security Agency have issued heat alert warnings for Friday.
