PRESIDENT Joe Biden has today spoken about 'serious concerns' over the outbreak of Monkeypox disease around the world - with 80 new cases identified worldwide.
Canada's Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said on Friday (May 20) that it was "unusual" for the world to see this many cases of monkeypox outside of Africa, where the virus is commonly found.
More than 100 cases were confirmed or suspected in Europe. Canada has confirmed two cases, and the virus has also been detected in the United States and Australia.
