Australian Swimmers Depart for Tokyo Olympics

The Australian swimming contingent comprising 35 members, along with athletes from other sports, departed Cairns, Australia, Saturday, en route to Tokyo.

Emily Seebohm and Cate Campbell join legend Leisel Jones as the only Australian swimmers to ever make four Olympic Games. The team has three athletes who have been named to their third Olympics, nine to their second, and 21 debutantes.

The team also includes Kaylee McKewon who captured a world record in the 100 meter backstroke, Ariarne Titmus (200m and 400m Freestyle), and Zac Stubblety-Cook (200m Breaststroke) who broke Commonwealth records at the recent Olympic trials.
