Thai opposition party calls for PM to resign amid protests - DW News.

Thailand's largest opposition party has called for Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha to resign at the start of a special parliamentary debate on ongoing widespread protests. The Prime Minister called the session in a bid to end months of demonstrations. On Sunday thousands again took to the streets of the capital Bangkok. The student-led groups are demanding a new constitution and reforms to curb the powers of the monarchy. Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn spends most of his time in Germany.
