The Conservatives' next test at the polls is likely to be in Wakefield, in a by-election, forced by the resignation of the Tory MP Imran Khan, who was convicted last month of sexual assault.
It's a red wall seat that was held continuously by Labour from the 1930s until the 2019 general election.
