Skateboarding, Tightrope Walking Robot Unveiled in California.
Researchers in California showed off their bipedal robot that can jump, skateboard and walk on a tightrope, Wednesday, October 6.
The robot, named Leonardo, was developed at the California Institute of Technology’s Center for Autonomous Systems and Technology.
The researchers said Leo is the first robot to use multi-joint legs and propeller-based thrusters to enable it to balance and carry out complex movements. (REUTERS)
