Giant Sinkhole Opens in Mexico

A sinkhole opened in the Mexican state of Puebla last weekend and has been growing dozens of meters each day.

On Sunday, May 30, the hole was measured at 30 meters in diameter, and it enlarged to 80 meters by Tuesday.

Experts are trying to determine the origin of the hole, with the current hypothesis being a geological fault line or groundwater variations in the soil. (AFP)
