A 59-YEAR-OLD female driver ploughed a pick-up truck through Breonna Taylor protesters in New York.
Karen Huffman was hit by the vehicle on Wednesday night and has suffered a broken shoulder and possible fractured wrist, according to reports.
Footage showed the Dodge truck revving its engine as it drove towards the protesters who were blocking traffic outside of Buffalo city hall.
Witness Eve Shippens told the Buffalo News: "I hear the tires screech and then I see the truck swerving," before hearing "a tremendous bang" and seeing the victim "flying up in the air."
"I thought for sure she was dead," protesters Dianne Britain told the outlet, adding that the driver "never slowed down."
"She never hesitated. She never stopped. There was no braking. She just ploughed right there. We just watched my friend get smashed," she said.
Some protesters chased after the vehicle screaming "murderer," before cornering the driver who started sobbing and claiming "I didn't mean to!"
