A large python in a tree was captured by firefighters at a park in Bangkok, Thursday, July 15.
The snake measured 3.5 meters long and weighed about 35 kilograms.
Firefighters have caught one or two snakes per day during the current rainy season in Thailand.
Urban spawl in the densely populated Bangkok area is affecting the natural habitats surrounding the city, which many blame for the rise in snake sightings in recent years. (AP)
