Spy Satellite Blasts Off in California

A United States spy satellite was launched into space from California, Monday, April 26.

The launch was webcast until the second stage ignited and the protective cover the satellite was jettisoned.

The feed was then cut by the National Reconnaissance Office, the government agency in charge of U.S. intelligence satellites. (AP)
