Humanitarian aid distributed to residents of Ukrainian city Bakhmut.

The residents of Ukraine's city of Bakhmut bordering Donetsk received aid on Friday, Nov. 25.

The city is a flashpoint in Russia's war now in its ninth month, bordering areas where the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is being fought.

The city has been abandoned by most of its residents as Russian strikes destroyed infrastructure and disrupted essential services such as gas, electricity and water.

The ones who remained had to face missile strikes and power outages.
