Boris Johnson makes an F1 pit stop on the campaign trail and wants to go «full throttle for Brexit» .

The Prime Minster made an F1 pit stop on the campaign trail and helped the Red Bull Grand Prix team change a racing tyre.

Boris Johnson posed with Red Bull Grand Prix cars in Milton Keynes as he promised to go full-throttle for Brexit, race ahead with tax cuts and pump cash into the NHS.

He donned mechanic’s overalls to try his hand at a tyre change, clocking 16.6 seconds — well short of the Red Bull record of 1.82 seconds.

But he quipped: “This whole country is stuck in the pits because of this blocked Parliament. What we need to do is change the wheel and get it back on track.”
