Ukraine calls for stricter energy sanctions on Russia - DW News.

The EU says it's preparing new economic sanctions against Russia in response to its announced military mobilization and the preparation of so-called referendums in Ukrainian territory. EU Foreign Affairs Chief Josep Borrell said the measures would focus on individuals as welll as certain sectors of the economy. They would be the eighth package of sanctions against Russia. On the other hand Ukraine is concerned that colder temperatures could bring backsliding by the EU. We speak to Oleg Ustenko, economic adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
