The footage appears to show Ukrainian soldiers, as well as tanks and other equipment, being targeted by Russian artillery, with the use of drones said to enhance gunners' accuracy.
The images were obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Friday, September 16, along with a statement claiming: 'In the special military operation zone, UAV units with the help of quadrocopters and artillery of the Airborne Forces destroyed the personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.'
The Russian MoD also claimed: 'During the next unsuccessful preparation of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the artillery of the Airborne Forces, in cooperation with unmanned aircraft, strikes at the military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, supporting the units of the group with fire.'
