Earthquake Causes Rapid Lava Flow on La Palma

A second earthquake in two days rattled the Spanish island of La Palma, Thursday, October 14, sending a fast-moving river of molten rock from the still erupting volcano.

The rivers of molten rock forced more than 300 people to evacuate late Thursday night.

That brought the total evacuees to about 1,200 people since Tuesday and approximately 7,000 total. (AP)
