Video provided to The Associated Press showed rescuers using a bottle lid to give some water to a boy as they worked to free him from the rubble left by an earthquake in southeastern Turkey.
Crews were trying to extract the child, who has since been rescued, outside the Turkish city of Antakya on Tuesday.
According to the Mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglu, the boy's name was Muhammed Ahmed, a Syrian in Antakya. (AP)
