THE dead bodies of a village head and her family were seen buried in a shallow grave in the village of Motyzhyn, on Monday (April 4).
A grieving relative describing them as peaceful people who had helped others get food and evacuate the village.
A relative, identified as Ihor, said that his mother-in-law, who was head of the village, had been killed alongside her husband and son, adding they were killed for “ the mere fact that they are Ukrainians.”
The dead bodies were partially covered in sand, and one person appeared to have their head taped.
Reuters couldn't independently verify who killed the family.
A Reuters reporter filmed another body of a man in a well near a burnt-out farm. He appeared to have been tied up.
