BREAKING: Education Secretary outlines plans for reopening schools - UK COVID-19 update.

The Education Secretary said schools will keep classes and year groups in separate groups when all pupils return in the autumn, with social distancing where possible.

Gavin Williamson added that restrictions on group sizes for early years providers will be relaxed from 20 July because of falling coronavirus infection rates.

Schools are being encouraged to stagger their start and end times to minimise contact between different "bubbles" of pupils.
