Health Secretary Steve Barclay said the Government is “engaging” with trade unions to try to end strikes in the NHS.
He told the Health and Social Care Committee on Tuesday: “The chair of the NHS staff council … said our discussion had been constructive and that is very much the tenure with which we are engaging with trade union colleagues.
Mr Barclay said the Government has a “process” through the independent pay review body.
