Police Clashed with Metal Work Protesters in Spain

Protesters clashed with police in Spain’s port city of Cadiz, Tuesday, November 23, at a march in support of striking metal workers.

Protesters threw stones and bottles at the police who responded with tear gas and low velocity exploding rounds.

Metal workers in Spain have been striking for over 8 days in a fight to improve pay conditions but talks held overnight Monday failed. (AP)
