EU FMs to tighten sanctions on Iran in response to crackdown - DW News.

EU foreign ministers are due to discuss tightening sanctions on Iran when they meet later today in Brussels. Last week, the European Parliament called on EU member states to label Iran's Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist group. Tehran has tasked the Guards with stamping out anti-government protests that have gripped Iran since September. But the Guards have come under international criticism for their violent crackdown on protesters.
