Sue Gray report into Boris Johnson 'plundered into chaos' by Met inquiry, delaying it's publication.

Breaking News - The Sun’s Political Editor, Harry Cole, reveals the reason why the Gray report, which is complete in terms of her findings and conclusions, has not yet been sent to the PM for publication.

He said: "The Met police have launched a bombshell by initiating their own inquiry.

It's plundered the report into absolute chaos. There's real concern in legal circles in Whitehall and amongst the investigation team that people won't be able to get a fair hearing.

The prime minister’s official spokesperson hinted at this during Wednesday’s Lobby briefing when he indicated that discussions had taken place about what would be suitable to publish and that the PM’s response would be shaped by what he can say in light of the Met inquiry.

BORIS Johnson today promised to publish the Sue Gray report in full amid fears some bits could be stripped out.

Wearing a hard hat as he waited nervously for the make-or-break findings, the PM vowed he will "of course" release the entire contents - but had not yet received it.
