Boris Johnson confronted over 'sleaze' allegations

Boris Johnson has denied BBC chairman Richard Sharp's involvement in his finances and called the claims "complete nonsense".

Mr Johnson told Sky News that Sharp is a "good and wise man" after it was reported that
Mr Sharp helped the former prime minister secure a loan of up to £800,000 in late 2020.

Mr Johnson then went on to recommend him for the top job at the BBC.
