Coronavirus: Thousands flock to beaches and parks to enjoy easing of England's COVID-19 lockdown.

COOPED-UP Brits are basking in 28C sunshine today as the UK enjoys temperatures even warmer than Marbella on the hottest day of the year so far.

Sunbathers have made the most of their new-found freedom following the easing of lockdown restrictions with temperatures hitting 27.8C at Heathrow Airport this afternoon.

Thousands of Brits flocked to beaches in Brighton, Bournemouth, Blackpool and Southend as they took advantage of this week's heatwave.
