Channel deaths: How the tragedy unfolded

On 24 November 2021, 27 people lost their lives in the English Channel after the boat they were travelling in capsized.

Survivors of the tragedy have claimed French and British authorities didn't respond to calls for help amid conflicting information about whose waters they were in.

Using marine tracking data, survivor testimony and what authorities said happened, Sky News has learned how the incident unfolded.
