A Jeep mowed into a Black Lives Matter march before one protester opened fire, injuring at least two people.
One demonstrator shot on Interstate 225 was taken to a hospital in stable condition during the carnage in Aurora, Colorado on Saturday night.
The Aurora Police Department tweeted that the other wounded protester showed up at the hospital with a graze wound a short time later.
It is unclear if anyone was injured when the Jeep mowed into the crowd.
But one woman who dodged the vehicle plunged 20 feet off the highway during her high-risk escape, witnesses said.
Cops are looking for the shooter who supposedly opened fire to stop the Jeep, according to people who saw the incident.
A driver and passenger were detained after cops located and towed the vehicle but they have not yet been identified.
