Downing Street Christmas Party: Liz Truss grilled over alleged misconduct.
FOREIGN Secretary Lizz Truss was grilled by journalists this morning at an event on foreign policy, over the government's alleged misconduct amid claims 10 Downing Street held a Christmas Party last year.
Senior members of the PM's top team were filmed laughing and referring to "cheese and wine" in a mock press conference held by Allegra Stratton in the No9 briefing room.
The Met Police said it was reviewing footage of Downing Street staff and will consider whether or not to investigate a breach of lockdown rules at the time.
Boris Johnson is expected to face serious scrutiny on the issue during this afternoon's Prime Minister's Questions in the Commons later today.
