Hindus Take Holy Dip in the River Ganges #shorts  - VOA News.

Hindus in northern #India on Tuesday celebrated “Ganga Dussehra” by taking a holy dip in the sacred River #Ganges in the temple towns of Haridwar, Prayagraj and Varanasi.

During the festival, devotees worshipped the holy river venerated by Hindus as a mother, as well as a goddess. The Ganges holds a uniquely significant place in Indian life and consciousness.

The Ganges is a symbol of purity for Hindus. Devotees bathe in the river and offer prayers for the well-being of their families. (Reuters)
