CCTV video footage shows the intensity of the tornado which caused destruction in Amory High School as it barreled through the area late on Friday (March 24).
Sam Strickland, IT Director of Amory School District, said the rest of the school was safe.
At least 25 people have been killed and dozens injured after a sever storm hit thee US state of Mississippi, generating tornadoes. Four people are missing, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said Saturday in its latest update on Twitter.
About 26,000 customers remained without power as of Saturday evening in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee due to the storm, according to the website PowerOutage.us.
