Germany votes in national election to replace Angela Merkel.

Germany voted on Sunday to pick its next chancellor after Angela Merkel announced plans to step down after 16 years. Preliminary results indicate her rival Social Democratic Party winning by the slimmest of margins, but it's not yet clear what the next government will look like.
