China ramps up political interference ahead of Taiwan's presidential election.

Taiwan's president Tsai Ing-Wen secured a second term over the weekend in a race that was dominated by relations with China. Her landslide win is seen as a strong rejection of attempts by Beijing's ruling Communist Party to exert power over the self-governing Island.
