Coronavirus: Rolls-Royce to cut 9,000 jobs

The engine maker said the coronavirus crisis was having a big impact on its business due to the collapse in air travel.

But CEO Warren East would not say how many UK jobs would go.

Rolls-Royce employs about 16,000 staff in its civil aerospace unit in the UK - most of them in Derby.

There are fears the cuts could lead to site closures.
