Three Weeks Later, Spanish Volcano Continues to Spew Lava.

The Cumbre Vieja volcano on the Spanish island of La Palma continues to gush lava after 3½ weeks, and experts say there is no chance of the eruption ending any time soon.

So far no one has been killed by the continuous flow, but the molten rock has covered around 540 hectares and destroyed 1,400 buildings.

More than 6,000 people have been evacuated, many of whom have left all their belongings behind. (AFP)
