A Petroleos Mexicanos oil pipeline exploded Friday morning following a gas leak.
According to local media, the explosion occurred during maintenance work, when a Pemex excavator punctured the pipeline, and it caused an explosion and fire in the gas pipeline in Amozoc, Puebla.
As a precautionary measure, firefighters evacuated the surrounding area to put out the fire.
Authorities said no deaths or injuries were reported, but three houses were damaged.
