Syrians built snowmen and took part in a snowball fight after a cold snap brought a rare snowstorm to Damascus, Thursday, January 20, 2022, social media video shows.
The snowstorm hit Syria, Lebanon and Jordan Wednesday and is expected to last for two to three days.
Despite the scenes of revelry in Damascus, Syria is experiencing fuel shortages and blackouts.
