A TRAIN derailed near the border of Ohio and Pennsylvania on Friday night (February 4) , causing a massive fire in the area, local media reported.
Drone video captured by the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board), showed nearly 20 charred passenger cars at the scene of the derailment, in Palestine, a town northwest of Pittsburgh. Smoke could also be seen rising from the blaze and filling the atmosphere.
Over the weekend, emergency crews evacuated residents from their homes within a mile (1.6 km) of the fire, according to several media reports.
It was not immediately clear if there were any casualties.
