On Monday, fighting erupted in Russia's Belgorod region - on the border with Ukraine. Moscow said 70 armed insurgents who crossed the border from Ukraine have been killed.
Professor Michael Clarke has told Sky News the Russian claim to have killed 70 people "looks credible".
Professor Clarke has also added it didn't seem to have been much fighting as "it is not as if these characters have been shooting up these villages or engaging with a lot of Russian soldiers".
