Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi insists the prime minister has "never intervened in the investigation Sue Gray has conducted".
Mr Zahawi was also asked about the prospect of a windfall tax on energy companies to help ease the cost of living for people in Britain. The tax, as reported by The Sunday Times, would mean energy companies could get lower rates as they increase investment.
