THINGS are looking up at Spurs after another three points at the weekend.
Bournemouth almost stunned the home side with a late fightback in the North London, but Jose Mourinho's men clung on for another crucial victory.
Next up is a visit to Jose's old club Man Utd, who stuttered to a 2-2 home draw against newly-promoted Aston Villa last time out.
Meanwhile, Mourninho is planning for life without Christian Eriksen after the midfielder made it clear he will not be renewing his contract at Spurs.
The Telegraph reports that Eriksen will allow his current deal to run down before departing North London for free at the end of the season.
Real Madrid have been touted as a potential destination and Eriksen will be able to talk to clubs during the January transfer window.
The Dane, 27, could find playing time hard to come by in the meantime after Mourinho said he wanted any contract issues resolved before Eriksen was considered as a regular starter again.
And loanee Gio Lo Celso isn't happy either – and wants to cut his loan move short.
The Argentine is on loan with the north London club from Real Betis for the 2019/20 season and has only been in the capital for four months.
But Spanish outlet Marca claim he is willing to cut his stint short and head back to Spain.
And Spurs face an away day against Championship side Middlesbrough in the third round of the FA Cup.
The competition could be their best chance of silverware this season as they look to win a first trophy since 2008.
