Released from the Russian captivity Oleg Sentsov urged the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to do everything possible to return al political prisoners in Russia home as 112 Ukraine reported.

Sentsov passed to Zelensky a jar with blue and yellow stripes. He asked to collect all badges of the prison Ukrainians to this jar and return them home. He compared this new tradition with the rules at many armies – to take off the badges of the deceased military.

“In prisons, the Russian prisoners have so-called badges. It is mine. The red line means “inclined to escape”, special prisoner, special control. I took it away to memory. In some armies of the world, there is such tradition that when a fighter dies, his commander takes the badge off to collect the reports about the deceased. It is a sad rule, a sad tradition. I would like to start another one,” Sentsov said.
