Kyiv records 197 new coronavirus cases

Kyiv has confirmed 197 new coronavirus cases in the past day, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has written on Facebook.

Among people who have fallen ill are 103 women aged 21-86 years, 81 men aged 20-91 years, 5 girls aged between 11 months and 13 years, and 8 boys aged 3-15 years. Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases has reached 214,822.

No lethal cases from COVID-19 have been reported over the past day.

As many as, 187 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 205,567 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease since the start of the pandemic.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 541 new COVID-19 cases on July 5.
