American politician, Presidential candidate and 47th Vice President of the USA Joe Biden demanded to investigate the case of U.S. President Donald Trump relating to putting pressure on Ukraine during his election campaign in Iowa. He also urged to stop Trump’s power abuse, as Reuters reported.

“This appears to be an overwhelming abuse of power. To get on the phone with a foreign leader who is looking for help from the United States and ask about me and imply things… this is outrageous,” a visibly angry Biden said.

According to Biden, Trump is doing so as he guards against rivalry with him on the elections. The politician also noted Trump is using the abuse of power "to smear him".

"You should be asking him the question: why is he on the phone with a foreign leader, trying to intimidate a foreign leader?” Biden added.

As it was reported earlier, the Wall Street Journal had published the article that Trump reportedly asked Zelensky to help Giuliani, attorney and former Mayor of New York City, to investigate the work of Joe Biden's son in Ukraine.
